Where am I from?: Born and Raised in Fairbanks, Alaska!
What are my Hobbies?: You're looking at one of them ☺. Really though, I have many passions... But what is topmost for interests are writing code (any language, really) and learning to be a better programmer. Behind that, is Gaming on PC, a hobby I share with my Son, whom is in love with Star Wars, Lego, and Minecraft (so naturally I am too).
What got me started in technology?: My grandfather got me started. He was a collector of all things that he could see potential in. He would bring me old computers that had been left for trash, and eventually I would have enough components to build a system. I was cutting my fingers on some of those old silicon chips with shotty soldering welds at about 12 years of age.
Best Video Game of 2017 in my opinion?: Hands down, PlayerUnkown's Battlegrounds
What got me into Coding/Programming?: It was a class at the University of Alaska Fairbanks CTC, "Introduction to Programming" for the AAS Information Technology program. I was really nervous about how well I would take such a subject, but it flipped a switch in my brain to help me see things more "programmatically". The language was Python 3.4, and I'm proud to say I aced that class.
